About Our Online Store
When you click on the Order Now button, you will be taken to Xponent's online store which is hosted by
the payment processor Kagi.com. Since 1994, Kagi has provided online shopping for software and physical products from thousands of
vendors and distributors. Kagi provides a secure (https) shopping experience that accepts all major credit cards,
PayPal, and other forms of payment, including purchase orders. Kagi collects and makes payment for applicable USA state sales tax as well as EU and UK VAT.
Software Licenses are delivered real-time during purchase transaction
so no waiting to receive them via e-mail(which is also sent) if payment is made by card or Paypal. For other payment methods, the license is emailed upon receipt of payment.
To use a PO, select the Purchase Order option and you will receive a printable invoice for your purchasing department.
Our software licenses are not hardware-locked but they do require activation/verification first time the software is executed.
They are perpetual licenses, i.e., they have no expiration date.
Your software license is provided with instructions and the URL for downloading the licensed version (the trial does not covert to the licensed
version). Be sure to include an e-mail address for receiving notices about updates, which are free for the first twelve months.
You are entitled to a full refund when requested within 30 days of purchase if you are not completely satisfied with our software for any reason.
Maintenance and Support
A one year Maintenance and Support contract may be purchased for 25% of the software license price. It includes priority technical support,
all bug patches for one year and no charge for the next major upgrade whenever it is released. Customers without a Maintenance and Support receive 30 days of free
technical support, all bug fix updates released during the first year and a discount on the next major upgrade.
Read the entire Maintenance and Support Policy.
When our software is installed on a server, each concurrent user must have one single user license. This is tracked via a license file where the user's name
is added to a list when the application is started and removed when it is closed. There is no limit on the number of users that may access the application,
only on the number using it at the same time, i.e., concurrently. Users are identified by their domain name + user name.
The software includes an administrator tool to clear the user list in the event of an abnormal shutdown of the application or the server, such as a power failure.
If you are a reseller you must be approved prior to purchase as stated in the Xponent Software License Agreement.
We can provide you with a customized license that contains the name of your customer's
company, instead of the purchaser name, along with the name of your company as the reseller.
Thus, when the purchased application displays the licensee in Help About, something like the following is
displayed: Licensed to General Products (Reseller: Software Direct). Note that if the quantity ordered is greater than one, the above
process is applied to each license key generated.
Prior to purchase please send us an email containing:
1. The end user company name.
2. Your company name.
3. Your company email address that will be entered on the billing information page at the online store when the purchase is made. This is
the address where your purchase confirmation will be sent.
We will create an account for you and notify you when ready for use. This procedure must be followed for each purchase.
